(EWC) is an independently owned and operated human resources and professional development consulting firm, with offices in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri, Overland Park, Kansas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.  EWC’s worldwide alliances have professional competencies and diversity for the delivery of outplacement services.   EWC was founded in 2000 by Michael Soler, a then Managing Principal of Defrain Mayer and a Vice President of OI Partners, Inc.  Today we have 3 Managing Partners, 2 Managing Principals, 4 consultants and a business processing department.

Established as a spin-off of DeFrain Mayer Palmer & Cay, EWC retained 100% of staff, expanded and launched alliances with OI Partners Inc. (OI), Career Partners International (CPI) and The Lincolnshire Group which provide a distribution system of over 200 alliance offices worldwide to provide services to global organizations.  EWC’s consultants have SPHR certification, Six Sigma Black Belt Methods certification diverse backgrounds, technical knowledge, E-learning and come from mid-sized to large organizations.  EWC is uniquely qualified with four divisions which include:

EWC consultants have an average of 15 years of professional experience in diverse fields ranging from human resources to financial services.  We also have provided services (at all organizational levels) to the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.  Our multi-disciplined approach allows us to offer clients expanded individualized consulting and advanced technology resources giving EWC the ability to assess clients’ needs and deliver the appropriate programs and services tailored to each individual. 

EWC provides consulting services for Fortune 500 to mid-sized organizations. Compensation is on a fee-for-service basis; neither commissions nor contingent fees are accepted.  EWC provides objective consulting advice by strictly adhering to its independence and fee structure.
